Medical Art Prosthetics, LLC is a nationally accredited full service prosthetics facility specializing in craniofacial, ocular and somatic prosthetics. Silicone restorations of the face and body are accurately rendered through advanced in-house scanning and 3D printing and finished under the discriminating eye of medical artist, Gregory Gion who is dual board certified in clinical anaplastology and prosthetics. Offering focused and rapid completion of original prostheses in as little as 2 or 3 days for out-of-state and international clients, we are also provide world-class results in partnerships with practitioners across the country. The company espouses a philosophy of instilling a sense of pride and ownership of practitioner's efforts and results.
Company History
Founded in 1985 as a sole-proprietorship the practice was America's first medical artist-directed independent clinic specializing in extraoral maxillofacial and somatic prosthetics. Expanding 20 years later to involve more anaplastologists, the original Dallas practice was sold to the new anaplastologist and a new clinic established in Madison Wisconsin. Medical Art Prosthetics, LLC has trained medical art interns across the country and helped launch the careers of at least 7 masters-degreed medical artist/anaplastologists. The Madison practice established in 2005 expanded in clinical capabilities with the certification of practitioner Greg Gion, becoming nationally accredited for all anaplastology and prosthetics categories. MAP has striven to train and/or involve talented and dedicated employees and independent contractors in any way possible with the goal of bringing the benefits of our unique services to new locations across the country.

Medical Art Prosthetics introduced the practice model to the United States whereby a clinic-trained medical artist can provide facial and other restorative prosthetics in his or her own independent facility with a level of competence and patient satisfaction that earns wide support within a medical community and thereby validating the practice model.
