At Medical Center Orthotics & Prosthetics (MCOP), our company mission is to empower amputees to Move Forward by offering personalized limb designs and the most advanced prosthetic technologies. From our headquarters in Silver Spring and our prosthetic offices in Washington DC and Annapolis MD, we proudly and passionately treat all types of prosthetic needs.
Company History
Medical Center O&P was founded in 2002 by Mike Corcoran, CPO and Mark McVicker, CPO with a singular vision, to provide superior patient care and unparalleled service to each individual that we have the privilege to work with. Mr. Corcoran and Mr. McVicker both have worked with various sized prosthetic and orthotic companies, from publically traded organizations to small “mom and pop” companies.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Starting in 2005, MCOP honored to be selected as the exclusive contractor for lower extremity prosthetics serving our nations wounded warriors at Walter Reed. Over the years, we are proud to have provided hundreds of our nation’s heroes with the highest possible level of care. Our relationship with the Department of Defense and our wounded warriors continues to this day, because of the steadfast commitment and unmatched expertise of our team in serving battlefield injuries.
