Company Overview
Plattner Orthopedic Company is a full service Orthotic Prosthetic and Pedorthic facility located in the heart of Illinois. We have a fully staffed branch office located in Peru, Illinois. We are a family owned business that started in 1946 and currently staff 2 CO's, 2 CPOs 1 CP and 1 C. Ped. along with full techincal staff for orthotic prosthetic and pedorthic fabrication and administrative staff totaling 21 all together.
Company History
Plattner Orthopedic Company was founded by Robert R. Plattner and began service to Central Illinois in 1946. Initially the company provided only orthotic services until 1992 when we hired our first ABC Certified Prosthetist. Currently our professional staff consists of 2 ABC Certified Orthotists, 2 ABC Certified Prosthetists Orthotists and 1 ABC Certified Pedorthist. Our office is a newly constructed 8000 square foot facility located in the center of the medical community. We have a full onsite laboratory with trained technicians and full administrative staff. Craig A. Plattner, CO, FAAOP is the current owner and president of the company. All practitioners are licensed by the State of Illinois.
A branch facility was opened in June of 2007 and is staffed with a full time receptionist and rotating practitioners to serve the Peru Illinois area.
